OVO L1 Review

Since purchasing my first pair of kegel balls at Sensual Adult Boutique in Ottawa earlier this year, I’ve absolutely fallen in love with them. There are 2 sets of weighted balls, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The set comes with a silicone sleeve that you can insert the balls into, then insert into yourself, so the retrieval string can easily remove them. The white sleeve is great, stretchy silicone that really holds the balls and keeps them in place. The string is a bit stretchy, making removal slightly more difficult. However, you can grab it closer up on the string for a better grip. The end of the string has a cute charm embedded, in a shade of light blue. Though you can insert the balls without the sleeve, I have fears about getting kegel balls stuck inside me, so I always use the cover.

The first set of balls I purchased at Sensual Adult Boutique weigh in at about 70 grams and are absolutely adorable. The balls are clear, and in the case of my toy, light blue in color. Inside each ball is a smaller ball that looks like a tiny golf ball which I found to be really cute. The second pair of balls are a bit heavier, weighing 90 grams, with a shiny metallic-looking plastic coating. They aren’t translucent. Both balls have a smaller inner ball which rolls around, providing even further sensation – which can be incredibly pleasurable! The L1 balls came with the lighter, blue pair already inserted, so I tried them first. I’ll definitely be using them a lot in the future. I question their durability, since the plastic of the more weighted balls is a little bit worn. However, plastic is a body-safe material, so with proper cleaning and care, the balls are made to last a long time. I’m looking forward to experimenting with these adorable little balls some more!
